Emperor Wang Mang Sculpture - Pacific Compagnie

Discover the Emperor Wang Mang Sculpture in enameled bronze by Pacific Compagnie. This work, depicting the ruler of the Han Dynasty (9-23 AD), embodies the prestige of the Chinese imperial era.
Cast in 30 kg of bronze, it is enhanced by the application of silver and 24-carat gold, as well as a twelve-layer amber patina.
The sculpture is adorned with 58 rubies totaling 27.25 carats on the pectoral plate, back, and sides, while the dragon's eyes are set with Burmese rubies.
The enamels, applied to 30 hammered copper plates covered with gold leaf, were fired at 870°C using a traditional four-firing process with counter-enamelling.
